Insurance Coverage
Many of the general dentistry services offered by Dr. Schmid are covered by insurance. So too are some neuromuscular dentistry services, such as TMJ treatment.
However, insurance coverage comes with a caveat: In over a decade of practice, we have found that insurance-driven care is frequently based upon the least expensive procedure. Denial of coverage is not uncommon when procedures are deemed “unnecessary.”
We are a preferred provider with some insurance companies and will happily process all insurance claims, but you may be sold short of the high-quality dentistry you need and deserve if insurance alone is your preferred method of payment. Because your absolute satisfaction may require more than your insurance deems necessary, we strongly urge you to consider all financing options before deciding to pass on the quality treatments that may be needed to perfect and protect your smile for years to come.
Our Cosmetic Dentistry Payment Options
We accept cash for all of our procedures and can discuss the possibility of payment plans during your free initial consultation as well. We also offer financing through CareCredit®, a healthcare financing company that offers generous terms and promotional financing options including 0% APR or low fixed-rate payment plans.
